Choosing LCL or air

LCL ocean usually costs less for a few pallets but takes longer. Air is faster and is usually priced on the greater of actual or volumetric weight.

What to have ready

• Commercial invoice and packing list
• Pallet count, weights, and dimensions
• Pickup ZIP and delivery address in India
• Schedule B numbers and EEI filing, when required
• Any documents the buyer or India customs needs, such as a certificate of origin
